GEO / SEO
What is GEO?
GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization. It focuses on making your business easier for AI systems such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI features to understand, trust and recommend.
How is GEO different from SEO?
SEO focuses on improving your visibility in traditional search results. GEO focuses on improving how your business is represented in AI-generated answers and recommendations. The two overlap heavily, so we treat them as one connected search strategy.
What is AEO? Is it different from GEO?
AEO stands for Answer Engine Optimization. It focuses on helping search and AI systems answer questions using your business or content. GEO is more specifically focused on generative AI platforms. The two overlap heavily, which is why we treat them as part of the same search strategy rather than separate services.
Do I still need traditional SEO if I want to appear in AI search?
Yes. Strong GEO usually depends on strong SEO fundamentals. Your website structure, content, technical setup, authority, local signals and overall search presence all influence how clearly AI systems can understand your business. AI did not magically make all of that disappear.
Which AI platforms do you optimize for?
We focus on the major platforms people use for search and recommendations, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI features and other relevant AI search tools. The exact mix changes as the market changes.
Can you make ChatGPT recommend my business?
We can improve the signals that make your business easier to understand, trust and recommend. We cannot control the answer ChatGPT produces for any individual query.
Nobody can.
What if we already rank well on Google?
Good. That is a strong starting point, but good Google rankings do not automatically mean strong AI visibility. We look at where you already perform well and whether there are meaningful gaps worth addressing.
What MMAD Does
What exactly do you do?
We work on the areas most likely to improve your visibility. That can include technical SEO, website structure, content, local search optimization, citations, reviews, authority building, entity signals, AI visibility tracking and measurement.
The mix changes depending on what your business actually needs. The problem decides the work.
Do you work on our existing website?
Yes. If your existing website has a solid foundation, we work with it and improve what needs improving.
If the site is holding you back, we will tell you.
Do you build new websites?
Yes. But only when rebuilding makes more sense than fixing what you already have.
We do not hand you a free AI-generated site or a glorified blog template and call it a rebuild.
We engineer the site from the ground up around your market, search strategy, content, technical structure and conversion goals. It part of the process, not bolted on as a free extra.
If the website is part of the problem, we fix the problem properly.
Do you work with our existing team?
Yes. We can work alongside your internal marketing team, developer, designer, SEO provider or agency. The aim is to fill the gaps and keep the work coordinated. We do not need to replace everybody in the room.
What makes MMAD different from other agencies?
We do not start with a fixed package or a list of monthly deliverables.
We start by looking at the problem, understanding what is limiting your visibility and deciding where the budget is most useful. The work can include SEO, GEO, content, website improvements, authority building or a mix of those areas.
The strategy is built around your market rather than a predefined package.
Pricing
How much does MMAD cost?
Ongoing engagements start at $2,500 per month.
Most focused local and moderately competitive engagements are likely to fall somewhere around $2,500–$5,000 per month.
Larger, highly competitive or multi-location businesses may require a broader scope and can sit above that range. Those engagements are priced individually.
We don’t use fixed packages because the amount and type of work depends on the problem. Once we’ve looked at your market, competition, current visibility and what actually needs to be done, we’ll recommend a clear monthly scope and price.
Simple.
Why don’t you have fixed packages?
Because your business does not have the same problems as everyone else.
One company may need technical SEO and local search improvements. Another may need stronger authority, better content or a more substantial website rebuild.
We would rather direct the budget toward the work that matters than force every client into the same package.
What determines our monthly fee?
Your market. Competition. Number of locations. Current visibility. Website. Authority. Commercial priorities.
Basically: how hard the problem is and how much work it deserves.
Why aren’t you cheaper? I found someone who’ll do it for $300.
You can find SEO for almost any price.
The question is not whether someone will take $300. It is whether $300 buys enough work, judgment and attention to solve your problem.
We are not selling a checklist. We analyse the market, work out what is actually limiting your visibility, and put the budget where it has the best chance of making a commercial difference.
If the cheaper option is enough, take it.
If the problem needs deeper strategy, better execution and ongoing adaptation, that is what you are paying us for.
Are third-party costs included?
Not always.
If a project requires external spend, such as specialist software, paid placements, development work or other third-party costs, we will make that clear before any spend is approved.
No mystery invoices.
Is there a minimum commitment, and can we cancel?
No long-term commitment.
Engagements run month to month, and you can cancel at any time.
We’d rather keep clients because the work is useful, not because a contract makes it difficult to leave.
Separate projects, such as website builds, have their own scope and payment terms.
Can our scope or monthly fee change?
Yes, if the needs of the business change.
Any change in scope or fee is discussed with you first. We do not change the price without agreement.
Results / Guarantee
How long until we see results?
Some improvements can show up within weeks, but meaningful SEO and AI visibility usually takes longer.
We ask clients to give the strategy a few months to work before judging it. Search work compounds, and cancelling halfway through implementation can mean stopping before the most important changes have had time to take effect.
We look at progress over months rather than days.
How does the 6-month progress guarantee work?
We agree what meaningful progress should look like for your business before we start.
That may include stronger search visibility, more frequent AI recommendations, improved local rankings or a better share of visibility against competitors.
If those agreed measures have not improved after six months, our monthly service fee stops while we continue working.
The guarantee assumes we have the access, information, approvals and feedback needed to do the work. If delays on the client side materially slow or block implementation, the guarantee period pauses until we can continue. Any approved third-party costs — such as paid placements, specialist software, external development or other outside expenses — still remain payable.
We share the risk with you.
Do you guarantee #1 rankings?
No.
We do not control AI.
Neither does the agency promising you #1.
Search engines and AI platforms are outside any agency’s control. We do not guarantee specific ranking positions.
What we do guarantee is a clear methodology, measurable progress and accountability if the agreed metrics are not moving.
Can you guarantee ChatGPT or Gemini will recommend us?
No.
We influence the signals.
We do not control the answer.
Anyone who says otherwise has more confidence than access.
How do you measure and report AI visibility?
We track the searches and prompts that matter to your business, monitor how often you appear, which competitors are being recommended and how that changes over time.
We combine that with traditional search and business performance data so you can see whether visibility is improving.
Pretty dashboards are optional.
Useful information is not.
Diagnostic / Getting Started
What is the MMAD Diagnostic?
The MMAD Diagnostic is a written PDF report plus a strategy call.
It is a deeper analysis of your AI visibility, local search presence, website, competitors, content and authority.
It is designed to show you what is holding you back, what matters most and what should happen next.
You can use it internally, give it to your existing team or ask MMAD to execute it.
Do I need the Diagnostic before hiring MMAD?
No.
If the problem is clear and we can confidently scope the engagement, we can move directly into working together.
The Diagnostic is useful when you want deeper analysis before committing, already have an internal team or agency, or want a strategic roadmap first.
What happens on the free call?
We talk about your business, market, current visibility and what you are trying to achieve.
We will also explain what we can already see, where the likely gaps are and whether MMAD looks like a sensible fit.
Don’t worry, we don’t bite. The results might sting a little.
What do you need from us to get started?
Access to the things that help us understand what is actually happening.
Usually your website, analytics, search accounts, business listings and existing marketing data.
We also ask for reasonably quick turnaround on approvals, feedback and anything only you can provide. It helps us keep momentum and avoid unnecessary delays. We will tell you exactly what we need.
How quickly can you start?
That depends on current capacity and the scope of the engagement.
If we are a fit, we will give you a clear start date before you commit.
Is MMAD Right for You?
Who is MMAD best suited for?
MMAD is best suited to established businesses with meaningful search demand, enough customer value to justify the investment and the capacity to handle more business if visibility improves.
How do I know if MMAD makes financial sense for my business?
We look at the economics first.
What is a new customer worth? How much demand is there? How competitive is the market? How much more business could you realistically handle?
If better visibility has a realistic chance of paying for the investment, MMAD may make sense.
If it doesn’t, we’ll tell you.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
Our strongest fit is local and multi-location service businesses where search plays a meaningful role in customer acquisition.
That can include home services, professional services, healthcare, legal, property, specialist trades and other businesses where customers actively search before deciding who to contact.
How MMAD are you, really?
Serious about the work. Less serious about sounding like everyone else.
